Provide medical consultative services in Transfusion Medicine, Coagulation, and the Stem Cell Laboratory

Contribute to and potentially lead initiatives within the WVU Health System Patient Blood Management Program

Participate in scholarly activities and departmental education

MD or DO; board certified in Pathology (CP or AP/CP)

Board certified/eligible in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine

Eligibility for a West Virginia medical license

Experience in immunohematology, transfusion service, coagulation, and cellular therapy

Secondary interest in Clinical Pathology (e.g., Microbiology) is welcome but not required

40+ faculty across anatomic and clinical pathology

Advanced Digital Pathology and Telepathology

Onsite IHC, cytogenetics, FISH, and NGS

Supported by the PALM Tissue Bank, Research Histology Lab, Brain Bank, and Rapid Development Laboratory
