WVU Medicine and the Department of Pathology, Anatomy & Laboratory Medicine seek a motivated Blood Bank / Transfusion Medicine Pathologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. The successful candidate will practice at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV, and support the broader WVU Medicine system.

Key Responsibilities
Provide medical consultative services in Transfusion Medicine, Coagulation, and the Stem Cell Laboratory
Contribute to and potentially lead initiatives within the WVU Health System Patient Blood Management Program
Participate in scholarly activities and departmental education
Qualifications
MD or DO; board certified in Pathology (CP or AP/CP)
Board certified/eligible in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine
Eligibility for a West Virginia medical license
Experience in immunohematology, transfusion service, coagulation, and cellular therapy
Secondary interest in Clinical Pathology (e.g., Microbiology) is welcome but not required
