About the Role: As a Physician Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating diseases by analyzing tissue, blood, and other body fluids. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals and support our mission to offer outstanding care to our veteran community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform microscopic examination of tissue specimens.
  • Interpret laboratory tests, including blood, urine, and other body fluids.
  • Conduct autopsies and provide detailed pathological reports.
  • Consult with other physicians to determine appropriate treatment plans based on pathology findings.
  • Engage in regular clinical review and quality assurance activities.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Stay current with advancements in pathology through continuous education and research.
