IU Health Arnett has an exciting career opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join its collaborative Oncologyteam.The practice is located in the beautifulcollege townof Lafayette (home ofBig Tenmember Purdue University).

Career Opportunity Details

  • Full Time
  • Days; Monday-Friday
  • No call
  • 50% Outpatient / 50% Inpatient
  • Collaborating physicians on site
  • Experienced candidates preferred (AOCN and/or OCN certification ideal), however having experience with Oncology patients either in training or prior experience is acceptable.
  • Formal orientation in place with our Hematology Oncology department chairman as the onsite mentor
  • Patient population: Oncology and Hematology adult patients
  • Practice Location: Primarily at IU Health Arnett Cancer Care (420 North 26th St, Lafayette, IN 47904).
  • Competitive compensation package (PTO, 401K, Medical/ Dental/ Vision Insurance, etc.

  • Key responsibilities:
    • Co-manage patients first chemotherapy/immunotherapytreatment, follow up visits and urgent visits.
    • Provide education topatients for chemo, biotherapy, and any infusionservice.
    • Staff education and development
    • Covering Inpatient rounding for established Oncology patients
