West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurosurgery are recruiting neurosurgeons to practice at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. We continue to expand, and the demand for our services is high. Our Camden neurosurgeons collaborate with 26 neurosurgeons throughout the Department of Neurosurgery and the West Virginia University Health System which is anchored by our 700-bed academic medical center and Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
The Health System, with more than 2,400 licensed beds, 3,900 providers, and nearly 30,000 employees across 25 member hospitals, has undergone significant expansion in specialty and sub-specialty care in areas such as cancer, heart and vascular, neuroscience, children's services, and more. The Health System operates West Virginia s first and only multi-organ transplant center, and opened a new, 150-bed Children s Hospital in September 2022. We serve a multi-state region that includes West Virginia, Western Maryland, Eastern Ohio, and Southwestern Pennsylvania.
