Deaconess Health System is seeking a highly motivated Outpatient Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Evansville, Indiana to serve patients in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting with strong clinical and administrative support.
We offer a highly competitive compensation package with significant earning potential:
- Year 1 guaranteed base salary: $375,000
- Sign-on bonus: $75,000
- Additional earning potential in Year 1 and beyond: Deaconess psychiatrists earn $400,000–$500,000 or more based on productivity and performance.

Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents.
- Provide medication management.
- Collaborate with PMHNPs & provide supervision as needed.
- Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with families, schools, and community resources to ensure continuity of care and support for young patients.
- Adhere to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards for psychiatric care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR (EPIC).
Deaconess Cross Pointe (DCP) offers a full continuum of behavioral health services, including outpatient programs and a fully accredited 60-bed inpatient facility.
Call Responsibilities:
We are seeking a psychiatrist leader with the following qualifications:
- Board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (MD or DO).
- Eligible for or currently holding an active medical license in the states of Indiana and Kentucky.
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry and familiarity with intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other members of an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children, adolescents, and families.
