Job Description

Sanford Health – Spearfish Clinic is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine trained physician to join our practice in Spearfish, SD.

  1. Schedule: Monday – Friday
  2. Practice includes specialty clinics: Ophthalmology & Orthopedics
  3. Provide comprehensive primary care, including examinations, diagnostics, DOT physicals, and treatment
  4. Analyze findings of tests and examinations and diagnose conditions of patients
  5. Determine and prescribe medication, dosage, and schedule given the patients' conditions and allergies
  6. Instruct patient and families regarding medications and treatments
  7. Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  8. Educate patients about their health conditions, medications, and treatment plans
  9. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
  10. Comply with all clinical policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  11. New resident/fellows are encouraged to apply
