Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Overview
Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York, a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a (0.4 FTE) Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our staff.
Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporate-affiliated hospitals, as well as community and school-based health centers, skilled nursing facilities, and health partners in related fields. All of our outpatient pediatric practices are NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home certified.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Join an established group of 5 Pediatricians and 13 Family Practitioners across multiple sites.
- 20 hours per week when school is in session Monday - Fridays 4 hours per day. In addition, approximately 8 additional days during the summer, July/August. Normal workweek resumes the last week in August.
- Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on school days during the school year and approximately 25 additional days beyond the normal Sept-June school calendar. The normal workweek resumes the last week in August.
- Some travel required. Travel will be reimbursed under IRS regulations.
- One day per month, the clinic will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Must be willing to occasionally help out at other SBHC’s with advanced notice, mileage will be reimbursed.
- Fully integrated EPIC Electronic Medical Record
- Salary Range: $93,636 - $120,685. This range is based on a 1.0 FTE. The salary range will be prorated to the hired FTE. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.

- National Certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- NYS Licensure
- BLS Certification
- DEA Required
