Cardiology Job at Sentara Medical Group in Suffolk, VA

Sentara Medical Group is seeking skilled Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our General Cardiology teams at BelleHarbour and Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia. This full-time role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care, providing the opportunity to collaborate with physicians in the hospital while also managing patients independently in the clinic.

Position Highlights

• Full-time schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (1–2 days in office)

• Inpatient care at Sentara Obici Hospital and Sentara CarePlex Hospital

• Outpatient clinic with independent patient management

• Average patient panel of 15 per day

• Weekend rotation: 1 in 5 weekends (Saturday & Sunday, 7:00–11:00 a.m.)

• Rotating call schedule: once every two weeks (nights, phone only – not in person)

• Duties include general follow-ups and new patient visits
