Areyou an Advanced Providerinterested in caring for Surgical ICU patients? IU Health has an outstanding opportunity to join our collaborating team of surgeons, residents, and APPs at our Level 1 Trauma Center in downtown Indianapolis, IN!

Job Description:

  • Full-Time, Night Shift
    • 3x12s per week
    • Rotating every fourth weekend
  • No call
  • 100% inpatient
  • Position includes trauma, emergency general surgery and surgical care of ICU patients
  • APP will performcentral lines, arterial lines, intubations, and chest tube insertions
  • Team includes 11 physicians and 20APPs

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree Required
  • Must be board eligible or board certified
  • ACNP, AGNP. FNP or PA certification required
  • At least 5 years nursing experience in critical care/ED required
  • Individual sought must have great attention to detail, be incredibly thorough and be able to keep up with the quick pace of assessment and documentation with a very critical patient population
  • Ideal candidates are able to work autonomous, have strong critical thinking skills and a team-oriented mindset
