Obstetrician/Gynecologist Job at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN

Indiana University Health has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM),Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)to work in our InpatientOB Emergency Department (OBED) at the Riley Children's Healthin Indianapolis, IN!

Position Details:

• Full Time
  • 12-24-hour shifts coverage as needed, including nights/weekends/holidays
  • Rotating weekend coverage considered Friday PM-Monday AM
  • No call
  • 100% inpatient
• Expected patient volume in hospital: 15-20 patients per 24-hour shift
• Work directly with 5-7 physicians and 1-2 APPs

Patient Population:

• Pregnant women seeking urgent care for obstetrical and possibly non-obstetrical needs. All Gestational ages are seen through the OBED. Both routine and high-risk patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing patients in the OBED
• Evaluating, diagnosing, treating and guiding patient care
• Patients may be gestational age seeking care for pregnancy or non-pregnancy related needs.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree Required
• Must be PA, ACNP, FNP, WHNP or CNM Certified
• APP experience in women's health or OB setting- preferably in a High-Risk OB facility.
• At least 1-2 years APP experience providing care to pregnant and postpartum patients preferred
