Job Description

Benefis Health System, a regional tertiary center in Great Falls, Montana, has a new opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Infectious Disease physician team. We are one of the largest hospitals in the state with great pathology and physician collaboration in the field of infectious disease.

 

Details:

  • This advanced practice provider position will be supporting two infectious disease physicians working in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and triage. General hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 pm

  • Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Taking thorough history (medical and social), performing physical exam

  • Ordering and interpreting laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures as indicated/recommended

  • Using medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan

  • Collaborating with medical team when needed for effective team-based care.

  • Opportunity for collaboration and mentorship with two Infectious Disease physicians and over 400 medical colleagues and vast pathology in referring region

  • Dedicated hospitalist program, dedicated ICU physicians 24/7 and good routines around when to consult ID
