UNC Urgent Care at Pittsboro, located in Pittsboro, NC, has an opening for a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). The provider is part of an interdisciplinary team and is responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams.

Ideal Candidate:

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, acute care or emergency room as an APP required
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Required procedures: Suturing, splinting
• DOT Certification
• Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required

Clinic Schedule: 

• 8am to 8pm - Sunday–Saturday
• Plus, weekends and holidays
• Flexible, Fulltime Schedule
