We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Trauma Advanced practice Provider to join the Extant Healthcare team at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.
Qualified Candidates:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with outside of training
Strong clinical and procedural skills in trauma care
Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with patients, nursing, physicians and administration
Board certification and current Virginia license or eligibility to obtain

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the management of patients with acute traumatic injuries in both emergency and inpatient settings
Provide interoperative support during trauma surgeries, including preoperative preparation, assisting during surgery, and postoperative care
Participate in trauma resuscitation and emergency interventions as needed
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Participate in training and education of medical students, residents, and other healthcare staff
