Riley Hospital for Children is looking for aNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto join our nationally-ranked hospital andHematology/Oncologyteam!

The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health is the only nationally ranked oncology and hematology program in the state of Indiana. We are home to the only pediatric stem cell transplant program in the state of Indiana and the only site offering pediatric CAR T-Cell therapy.

The Center for Cancer & Blood Diseases is affiliated with the Indiana University Health Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center, the states only NCI designated Cancer Center for clinical care. Riley at IU Health is a Children's Oncology Group Phase I Consortium member. Our patients are able to access the latest clinical trials and cutting edge medications all while under the care of highly skilled physicians and staff.

Position Details:

• Full time, Days
• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• 100% outpatient
• Procedures: spinal tap, bone marrow aspirate, bone marrow biopsy, Ommaya access
• Expected patient volume in the office 24-32/week

Job Description/Key Responsibilities:

• Manage solid tumor patients in the outpatient setting
• Manage scheduled chemotherapy patient visits andside effects of treatments
• Perform independent, comprehensive assessments of patience receiving oncology treatments
• Participate in team rounds and outpatient clinic
• Act as a resource for nurse navigators

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate would have experience in hematology/oncology or critical care
• 3+ years of hem/onc nursing experience preferred
• PNP, FNP, ACNP, or PAcertification required
