At TeamHealth, we take an integrated, evidence-basedapproach to rehabilitative care.We are looking for a doctor in medical or osteopathic practiceto provide high quality healthcare to our seniors in short-term rehab, long-term care, and assisted living settings within the greaterAsheville, NC and surrounding areas. Come workwithinan experienced integrated care team of physician leaders, nurse practitioners, and physician assistantsto deliver high-quality holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person medical care for residents in short term skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities from Cantonto Colfax, North Carolina
• Provide mentorship and oversight for collaborating clinicians
• Timely pharmacy, acute response and documentation of care
• Clear understanding and implementation of regulatory guidelines
• Attend monthly leadership meetings

Qualifications

• Current physician license (State of North Carolina) and DEA
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome to apply
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook

About the Role

• Job Type: Full-time
• Ability to Commute: Up to 50 minutes from Asheville
• Ability to Relocate: Before starting work (required)
• Work Location: In-person daytime rounding; Monday through Friday with flexible hours

Compensation is fee for service (FFS). Expected compensation is estimated range of $367k to $415kannually with no cap on productivity income potential. This full-time role is benefit eligible.
