Position Details:

  1. Duke Lifepoint is hiring a full-time Gastroenterologist to float between two Duke Lifepoint Hospitals
    1. Frye Regional Medical Center - Hickory, NC (1 hour from Charlotte, Asheville, & Winston Salem)
    2. Haywood Regional Medical Center - Clyde, NC (25 minutes from Asheville)
  2. Spearhead the development of a newly formed travel position
    1. 1 employer – no locums companies
    2. 1 contract - easy to manage
  3. Schedule: 7 on 7 off block
    1. 7 days at FRMC
    2. 7days off
    3. 7days at HRMC
    4. 7days off
  4. No requirement to relocate
  5. Procedural Based
    1. Inpatient Consultation and ED coverage only
    2. Exclusive Block Time in Endo suites or OR
    3. NO CLINIC requirement
    4. Hospitals are equipped with General GI and ERCP scopes
  6. Support
    1. Care Team supported by Advanced Practice Providers to manage clinic visits
    2. Certified Medical Assistant assigned to the physician for patient care coordination
