Internist Job at Headlands Research in Springfield, MO

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced physician to join our team part-time at our clinical research site located in Springfield, MO. We are flexible on our needs and are focused on finding the right fit. We are seeking any specialties that can oversee clinical trials involving migraine/headache, pain medicine, rheumatology, arthritis, diabetes, and vaccines -- ideally Internal Med, Family Med, Urgent Care, or Emergency Med, but all specialties are welcome to apply.

• Schedule will be within the clinic hours of Monday - Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm, and Friday, 8:00am - 12:00pm
• Hours: Flexible; 10+ hours/week
• Team: large team of clinical research coordinators, research assistants, physicians and advanced providers, and patient recruitment specialists. Ample amount of support and excellent team culture provided.

Responsibilities:

• The right candidate will assist the principal investigator in directing and overseeing all research activities within the site, fostering a culture of research integrity, with ultimate responsibility for compliance with policies and regulations.
• Oversight of an ever-expanding clinical team, all striving to create a patient-centric and positive experience within the company.

Requirements:

• MD/DO
• Active and unencumbered license to practice within the state of MO required
• Experience in clinical trials preferred but not required
