Pediatrician Job at Defense Health Agency Medical Civilian Corps in Baden-Württemberg

- Perform Pediatric Physician services that include examination, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. - Provide a broad spectrum of health services ranging from preventative health care and developmental health care needs to the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. - Serve as first contact, continuous, comprehensive primary care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents according to current standards of care, the patient centered medical home model of care, policies, and relevant regulations. - Lead a multi-disciplinary team of individuals who collectively takes responsibility for the ongoing care of patients. - Coordinate and/or integrate care across all elements of the healthcare system (e.g., subspecialty care, hospitals, home health agencies, nursing homes) and the patient's community (e.g., family, public and private community). - Complete required records (both paper and electronic) pertaining to all medical services provided in accordance with specified procedures and regulations. - Properly safeguard all reports and records according to the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards. - Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) and quality assurance (QA) activities. - Performs Other Duties as Assigned
