We are hiring for a Nocturnist PA position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of four physicians and two APPs at Piedmont Macon Northside.

Qualifications:

• Board certified/eligible physician assistant.
• Two or more years of hospitalist experience as a PA is required.

Scheduling:

• Flexible schedule with 7 days on/7 days off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cross coverage calls on an ADC of 20-40 and approximately 2-3 admissions/night.
• This nocturnist role works in a supportive environment that promotes balance and collaboration.
• Focus on managing cases in an open ICU environment with tele-intensivist coverage, without the expectation of performing procedures or running codes.
