Providence Oregon Hospice provides deeply compassionate care to patients and their families throughout the Portland area, offering comfort, dignity, and a sense of peace during life’s most vulnerable moments. The dedicated team is seeking an experienced Hospice Physician who can not only lead bedside care for those experiencing distressing symptoms but also inspire collaboration across the hospice’s many disciplines. As part of Providence Hospice Oregon’s comprehensive Home and Community Services program, this vital work is integrated with Home Health, Palliative Medicine, Geriatrics, and hospital practitioners, ensuring every patient receives holistic, thoughtful care tailored to both their medical needs and emotional well-being.
Where You’ll Work
The Oregon Region Hospice Program is responsible for the medical direction and oversight of hospice services throughout the region’s ministries, including care provided in home settings and intermediate care, assisted living and acute care facilities. The primary goal is to provide support that allows patients to spend their time living as they wish, ideally in familiar surroundings in the company of family and friends.
