About this role:As a Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.
- This Neonatal APP will support Platte Valley Hospital, located in Brighton, Colorado. Platte Valley has a 5 bed Level II NICU and a thriving labor & delivery unit. We generally provide care to babies born at 34 weeks gestation and greater, including CPAP.
- You will be the primary provider within the NICU, leading interdisciplinary rounds, admitting and discharging patients in collaboration with a Neonatologist.
- In addition to NICU, you'll attend c-sections and high risk deliveries, also serving the well newborn nursery by doing well newborn exams, circumcisions, and consulting as needed.
- You'll interact with a complement of allied health providers (respiratory therapists, speech/OT/PT, social workers, etc.) and experienced staff.
- While you are generally the only Neonatal provider in house while on shift, you will be supported by our larger Neonatologist & NNP team across the Front Range.
- Our APPs report directly to an AP Director, who is also a practicing Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
- Full time, you will be scheduled an average of 36 hours per week. These are typically taken in 24 hour increments (7am - 7am).
- You will receive $9,000 starting bonus and will be eligible for relocation assistance as needed.

What you'll bring:- Board certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner OR if a Physician Assistant, Board Certification and 1+ years of clinical PA experience in a NICU
- Active, unobstructed Colorado APRN or PA and Controlled Substance license, or the ability to obtain prior to starting employment
- Federal DEA Certificate II - V
- BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- We highly prefer candidates with 2+ years of Neonatal APP experience.
