UK King's Daughters is a 455-bed regional referral center in Ashland, Kentucky. We are part of the University of Kentucky Health system. We own 40+ primary care clinics in outlying areas of Kentucky and Ohio which refer patients from a catchment area of about 750,000 people to our main campus for testing and treatment. Next year, we will complete a large construction project on campus, which will provide us with a brand-new ER and a new Imaging Department. Our Emergency Department sees more than 80,000 patients per year. We have almost all medical specialties here at our facility, except pediatric subspecialties. About three years ago, another hospital in our community was shut down, and since that time, our facility has been experiencing tremendous growth in our patient volumes.
We have an open position for a Neurosurgeon to join one full-time and two part-time Neurosurgeons. The incoming physician will have a guaranteed salary of $900,000 for all three years of the initial contract and will be eligible for productivity bonuses based $90 per wRVU. The physician will also receive excellent benefits, including health, vision, dental and life insurance, paid malpractice coverage, long term disability, six weeks of vacation, one additional week and $5,000 for CME, 401k/403b retirement plans and a CAP retirement savings plan for physicians only. A signing bonus and student loan repayment are available as well.
