Join IES, Integrative Emergency Services, an independent physician-owned practice management group at Tucson Medical Center. Positions available in the Adult ER and/or the Pediatric ER on a full-time, part-time, or PRN basis. 

Adult Emergency Department:

• Positions: Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN, Full-Time Nocturnist
• Volume:  80,000
• Admission Rate: 27%
• Transfer Rate: 1%
  
• Patients/Hour: 1.7
• Physician Coverage: 69 hrs daily
• Physician Shifts: Day/evening shifts are 9 hours; Night shifts are 2000 – 0600; 2200 - 0700
• APP Coverage: 50 hrs daily
• Adult ED Beds: 60
• EMR: Epic
• Imaging: Full imaging services available - POCUS, CT, MRI, Xray, US, Nuc Med
• Qualifications: BE/BC ABEM or ABOEM 

Adult Hospital:

• Beds: 615
• Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Accredited Chest Pain Center
• Gold Plus Achievement Award

Pediatric Emergency Department

• Separate dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department
• Positions Available: Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN, Full-Time Nocturnist with $10,000 signing bonus
  
• Volume: 28,659
• Admission Rate: 6%
• Transfer Rate: 1%
• Patients Per Hour: 1.8-2 per clinician
• Physician Shifts: 9 hours (7a - 4p; 3p - 12a; 10p - 7a)
• Physician Coverage: 27 hours daily
• APP Coverage: 12 hours daily; 18 hours daily during winter surge
• ED Beds: 14
• EMR: Epic
  
• Qualifications:
• BC/BE EM with PEM Fellowship or combined PEM/EM dual residency
• BC/BE Pediatrician with PEM Fellowship
• BC Pediatrician with 10 years hospital ER experience

TMC for Children Hospital

• 42-bed Level III NICU
• 12-bed PICU
• 33-bed Inpatient Pediatric Unit with around-the-clock in-house pediatric hospitalists
• Specially trained child life specialists
• Full range of pediatric subspecialist physicians on staff

Compensation:

• W2: Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN or 1099: PRN
  
• All RVU compensation plan
• Adult ED Nocturnist: $250/hr average-$240 per hour guaranteed plus RVU plus 10% Quality Service Performance metrics pay
• Adult ED All Other Shifts: $220-240/hr average-all RVU including 10% Quality Service Performance metrics pay
• Pediatric ED: $220/hr average - $170 per hour base pay including RVU plus 10% Quality Service Performance metrics pay
• Quality Service Performance metrics pay: is based on metrics established annually and is paid monthly
• Night Shift Differential: $15/hr 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. (excludes cross-over shifts)
• Holiday Bonus Pay: $85.00 per hour bonus pay on designated holidays
