Job Description

Kent Hospital, a 360 bed teaching hospital, part of Care New England, a top non-profit health system in RI and southeastern MA, is seeking an Advanced Practice Caregiver to join our dynamic Geriatrics and Palliative Care Team.

  Who Are You?

  1. BC NP/AGPCNP or PA-C with CAQ in geriatrics preferred
  2. Passionate about teamwork, teaching and high quality patient centered care

What You’ll Do:

  1. Outpatient primary care and consultative practice located adjacent to Kent Hospital
  2. Patient population: geriatrics ages 65+, appointments range from 30-60 minutes
  3. Scope of practice: primary care, h&ps, develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of conditions, cognitive evaluations, mobility management, pre-operative geriatric assessment through our Geriatric Surgery Verification program
  4. Option for some time to be spent on our ACE inpatient unit at Kent Hospital
  5. Collaborate on system wide Age Friendly initiatives
  6. Minimum 1 year experience
