Job Description

Kent Hospital, a 360 bed teaching hospital, part of Care New England, a top non-profit health system in RI and southeastern MA, is seeking a Geriatrician to join our dynamic Geriatrics and Palliative Care Team.

  Who Are You?

  1. BC Internal or Family Medicine
  2. BE/BC in Geriatrics (dual certification in Palliative Care preferred)
  3. Passionate about teamwork, teaching and high quality patient centered care

What You’ll Do:

  1. Outpatient primary care and consultative practice located adjacent to Kent Hospital
  2. Patient population: geriatrics ages 65+
  3. Scope of practice: primary care, cognitive evaluations, pre-operative geriatric assessment through our Geriatric Surgery Verification program, opportunity to participate in our e-consult service
  4. Option for 25% of time to be spent on our ACE inpatient unit at Kent Hospital
  5. Collaborate on system wide Age Friendly initiatives
