Join our team as a Physician Clinic Medical Director, an entry level leadership role with potential for career advancement.  Gilroy is located south of Silicon Valley and Concentra will provide relocation assistance in order to avoid a lengthy commute.  Our Medical Directors spend most of their time clinically treating patients with the remaining time focused on quality improvements and building the center business with the Center Leadership Team. This role offers an opportunity for physicians to blend their love of patient care with their management skills, working for the leader in the workplace health industry.

This is a full-time, W2, salaried role where the shifts take place Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM.  No evenings, no weekends and no call.  Specific to our Gilroy location, you will work with another full-time clinician and several PRN clinicians.  You will be able to refer patients for ancillary services onsite: x-ray and physical therapy.  Many times we have specialists who hold clinics several times per month, making referrals and communication a smooth process. 

Visits vary and consist of either workplace injuries and the related follow-up care, urgent care ranging from ages two through Medicare, and non-injury work-related physicals.  Enjoy a fast-paced environment where we provide acute care and measure outcomes as we return patients to full duty.  We will train specialists with related backgrounds: Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active and unrestricted CA license
• Unrestricted DEA license
• Must be able to participate in Medicare
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty preferred
  
• FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the state range of $280,000.00 to $345,000.00 annually plus Director Stipend depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority. Additional incentive bonuses are available on a quarterly and monthly basis.
