The Department of Surgery is seeking a qualified and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our expanding Division of Vascular Surgery. This position works collaboratively with our vascular surgery attendings who provide coverage at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics and Capital Region Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional vascular care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality patient care in collaboration with vascular surgeons and other healthcare professionals
Manage inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, including pre- and post-operative care
Conduct independent clinics with autonomy and clinical decision-making
Participate in care coordination, patient education, and follow-up
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Missouri
Certification by an accredited NP or PA program
Experience in vascular surgery or a related surgical specialty preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
Must be granted a Document of Recognition from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
