At Duke City, we’re redefining what patient-centered care looks like. We’re seeking a passionate, skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Hybrid Care Team serving the Gallup, NM community.
This unique role blends the best of both worlds 75–80% telemedicine and one week on-site for every eight weeks of virtual care, giving you the flexibility of remote work while staying closely connected to the patients and colleagues who make medicine meaningful.
As a Duke City Virtual Care Provider, you’ll diagnose and treat a range of health conditions, provide preventive care, and empower patients to lead healthier lives. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our on-site Gallup team, ensuring continuity of care and a seamless patient experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Examine both Primary Care and Acute care patients through telemedicine technology
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, EKGs, etc.)
- Conduct New Patient examinations, Medicare Wellness visits, Attestations
- Propose treatments for chronic and acute diseases
- Prescribe medications
- Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics, and prevention
- Oversee patients’ overall health
- Promote good health practices
Skills:
- Proven experience as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
- Expertise in Primary Care AND Acute Care (Urgent Care or ED)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong technology skills
- Excellent organization skills and time management skills
- Team spirit with a positive attitude
- Patience and compassion for all team members and patients
- Willingness to participate in Duke City Cares monthly education program
- Ability to see 2.5-3 patients per hour
- Ability to work in a remote, stationary telemedicine capacity for 10-11 hours per day, free from distractions
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Master’s degree
- Current National Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
- New Mexico State Medical License (REQUIRED)
- To obtain DEA and Controlled Substance License specific to New Mexico
- NP/PA: 2 years (required)
- Previous Telemedicine a plus

Salary Range- $10,000 to $20,000 ( depending on productivity bonus )
