About the Role

As a Duke City Pediatric Provider, you’ll play a key role in promoting wellness and delivering exceptional pediatric care across a full spectrum of childhood health needs. You’ll diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, provide preventive education, and guide families in nurturing lifelong healthy habits.

You’ll work closely with our interdisciplinary medical team to ensure every child receives compassionate, comprehensive, and family-centered care. This is more than a clinical position, it’s a chance to be part of a healthcare family that values growth, collaboration, and community service.

 

Job Responsibilities

  1. Perform comprehensive physical examinations and review medical histories.
  2. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
  3. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
  4. Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans.
  5. Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness.
  6. Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and preventive care in an age-appropriate and supportive manner.
  7. Promote healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and early intervention practices.
  8. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
  9. Collaborate with fellow Duke City healthcare professionals to provide integrated, patient-centered care.
  10. Stay current on medical research, pediatric care guidelines, and best practices.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
  2. Board certified in pediatrics

  3. Must possess a Medical License through the State of New Mexico
  4. Board of Pharmacy License, New Mexico
  5. DEA License
  6. BLS, ACLS and PALS Certification
  7. Ability to obtain Malpractice Insurance
  8. Documentation of continuing medical education per licensure and certification requirements
  9. Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or urgent care pediatric settings preferred.
  10. Strong background in preventive care, acute illness management, and chronic disease management for pediatric populations.

Salary Range- $200,000 to $300,000 ( depending on productivity bonus )
