Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Status: Full-Time or Part-Time

About the Role:

As a Duke City Pediatric Provider, you’ll play an essential role in promoting wellness and delivering comprehensive care for children and adolescents. You’ll diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions, guide families through preventive health strategies, and serve as both a trusted clinician and educator.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough physical examinations and review patient medical histories.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
  • Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and preventive pediatric conditions.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with guidelines.
  • Educate patients and caregivers about health conditions, medications, and preventive care in an age-appropriate, compassionate manner.
  • Encourage healthy lifestyle habits and disease prevention.
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other Duke City healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of pediatric care.
  • Stay current with pediatric best practices and pursue continued learning opportunities.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner or PA (Required)
  • Experience as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting preferred.
  • Prior pediatric-specific training and outpatient experience as a Pediatric NP or PA
  • Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices
  • Must possess a Medical License through the State of New Mexico

Salary Range- $10,000 to $15,000 ( depending on productivity bonus )
