Overview: White Plains Hospital is seeking a dedicated Full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join our esteemed team. In this pivotal role, you will provide top-notch care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As the busiest emergency department in Westchester County, we treat 85,000 patients annually in our adult and pediatric emergency departments. We offer full ancillary and specialty support, including a state-of-the-art simulation lab.

About Us: White Plains Hospital, a proud member of the Montefiore Health System, is a 292-bed Comprehensive Heart Attack Center certified by The Joint Commission (STEMI & NSTEMI) and a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center, also designated as a Regional Stroke Center in Westchester County. The hospital offers 24/7 specialty and hospitalist backup, advanced imaging including CT, ultrasound, and MRI, and uses EPIC EMR alongside a state-of-the-art simulation lab. White Plains Hospital is committed to delivering exceptional acute and preventative care and fostering a supportive, physician-led culture with compassionate care. The hospital is not a trauma center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work a variety of shift lengths from 8 to 12 hours, including rotating nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Provide high-quality medical care in the emergency department for adult and pediatric patients.
• Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a calm and effective approach in high-pressure situations.
• Participate in departmental initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
• Valid state medical license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $360,000 – $421,000 (excludes incentives based on quality measures and productivity).
• 1532 clinical hours per year.
