Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practice Provider Inpatient Position:
St. Michael Cancer Center, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. In our ongoing effort to expand our exceptional care to regions in the Puget Sound, we are looking for a well-trained, collegial, caring APP who is motivated to provide the best possible patient care in Silverdale, WA. Our ideal candidate will have at least one year of APP inpatient experience in Hematology/Oncology.
Expectations for inpatient APP position are as follows:
8 hour shift
Monday-Friday (flexibility if individual days off are needed)
covering new consultations to oncology from ER and hospitalists, will be staffed with the oncology attending on call later that same day
follow-up existing oncology inpatients, and will be staffed with the oncology attending for that patient
expected census of 10-15 patients for the service, responsibilities may be split with the attending, if larger volumes
Compensation Range: $128,750 - $164,300 based on ARNP/PA experience
Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Current Washington State ARNP or PA license or active license prior to starting
Prior experience with EPIC a plus, but not required
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, and hospital staff, patients and their families
Excellent communication skills and professionalism
Strong commitment to patient care team concept and privacy guidelines
