Providence Portland Medical Center Department of Medical Education is seeking an exceptional General Internist to join the Providence Portland Internal Medicine Residency Program in a mixed faculty/clinical role. This department is made up of a collaborative group of clinician educators who are passionate about training the next generation of physicians. The program of 31 residents and 14 core clinician-educator faculty emphasize mentorship, role modeling, and rigorous clinical experiences that balance clinical exposure in a variety of settings (including outpatient medicine, inpatient medicine, and subspecialties) with an understanding of a patient-centered care model, evidence-based medicine, and a focus on quality improvement. Additionally, the department hosts medical students from Oregon Health & Science University and Washington State University on core rotations each month.
