- As a Staff Physician for the Emergency Medicine Services, this position is responsible for all aspects of Emergency Medicine.
- Perform appropriate evaluations for patients. Participates effectively in team meetings and treatment planning conferences and collaborates with Interdisciplinary Team Members in a manner that enhances coordination of comprehensive patient care.
- This position will require rotating 10-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays from 6a to 2a.

- Salary: $300,000-$380,000
- Who May Apply: U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA policy.

BENEFITS:
Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50–55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 days paid absence for CME)
Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA
Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement)
Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification)

Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restrictions on
moonlighting
Work Schedule: 8:00AM - 4:30PM - Monday – Friday. This position requires no call coverage
This position is eligible for our Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), which allows for up to $200K in loan repayment over a 5-year period.
