Position Summary

Advance Community Health is currently staffing new Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to work at our new Advance Axcess (Urgent Care) Clinic located in Raleigh, NC. The Advance Practice Practitioner (NP/PA) will work under the general supervision of the Chief Medical Officer and have a work schedule of 4 x10hr days. The Provider will evaluate and treat patients in an efficient and effective manner when immediate care is needed. This may include completion of referrals, consultations, daily patient interaction, daily notes, procedures, clinic notes, pre- and post-procedure care, prescribing and patient care follow-ups. Will work closely with other healthcare providers in a collaborative multidisciplinary approach to maximize the care we provide for our patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
  • Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.
  • Provides counseling and education to patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
  • Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three (3) years of experience in the program related to the area of assignment; 
  • NC license for NP or PA-C.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • 2-3 years of urgent care experience required

Location: Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC

Clinic Hours: Mon-Thur 8am -7pm, Fri-Sat 8am -5pm

Work Schedule: 4 x 10hr shifts
