Join the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix, a top-rated teaching hospital. Banner University Medical Group and the University of Arizona are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our highly trained surgical team. You will collaborate with talented, dedicated professionals in a multidisciplinary environment, providing excellent care to complex surgical patients. Our intimate practice features two physicians and one nurse practitioner, fostering a supportive team atmosphere where every member thrives.
Primary Focus & Responsibilities:
· Provide inpatient and outpatient care with hospital rounding responsibilities
· Support surgeons across all settings: inpatient, outpatient, and OR
· Perform First Assist duties as part of the role
· Participate actively in clinical, research, and educational services
· Learn and provide care in both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures
Location & Coverage:
· Primary location: Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix - 1111 E McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85006
· Possible coverage responsibilities at our Arcadia location
Requirements:
· ACNP (w/RNFA certificate) or Physician Assistant certification required
· Licensed in Wyoming or eligible for licensure
· DEA with prescriptive authority
· ACLS/BLS
· New graduates accepted with a minimum of 1 year of prior hospital experience
· Self-motivated individual with willingness to learn
· Strong team player mentality
· Commitment to multidisciplinary surgical care approach
Schedule:
· Full-time position: Five 8-hour shifts
· No call requirements
