HonorHealth, a locally governed, non-profit, and Forbes-recognized Top Employer, actively seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist with fellowship training or experience in BMT and cellular therapy. This is a hospital-employed position within the growing HonorHealth BMT & Cellular Therapies Program, a regional destination for comprehensive, innovative cancer care. Option for dedicated time for Clinical Trials and Translation Research in the HonorHealth Research Institute and Center for Translational Science.
Program & Role Highlights
- Join a dedicated and collegial BMT team practicing at the HonorHealth Shea Medical Center, home to a 21 bed transplant unit performing over 100 transplants annually, including autologous and allogeneic HCT
- Active cellular therapy including CART and BiTE therapies in hematological malignancies, robust acute leukemia service and solid oncology including melanoma
- Night shift APP coverage supports the inpatient transplant service, ensuring comprehensive care and a balanced call schedule
- Large built-in referral network from across the Valley and beyond—offering immediate patient access and an established BMT practice

Ideal Candidate Profile
- BC/BE in Hematology/Oncology
- Fellowship training in BMT & Cellular Therapy
- Clinical interest in:
- Inpatient and outpatient transplant care
- Cellular therapy program development (e.g., CAR-T)
- Large leukemia practice integration
- Clinical research and innovation
- Strong commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork with physicians, APPs, social workers, pharmacists, care navigators, and referring providers
- Desire to practice in a community-based setting with academic collaboration and research opportunity
