A Busy Hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

In Corning, New York, immerse yourself in the world of glass art at the Corning Museum of Glass or stroll through the charming Gaffer District, known for its unique shops, galleries, and dining options.

The assignment starts on 12/01 and is expected to last 6-12 months, with 120 days required for privileging. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and may include weekday call, with weekend call required every 5-7 weekends (Friday 5:00 p.m. to Monday 7:00 a.m.). The scope of practice includes general anesthesia for GI, orthopedic, GYN, L&D, and minor trauma cases, with a key need for OBGYN coverage and call on both weekdays and weekends. Candidates must be located within 20 minutes of the hospital and hold an active NY license.
