As part of our team, you'll receive a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona that reflects your experience and expertise, while contributing to the future of orthopedic surgery through teaching, research, and clinical excellence.

 

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery: Hand
  • Fellowship Training
  • NIH Research funding is a plus

Job Details

  • 1.0 FTE | Clinic Days | Surgical Days
  • Elective & Trauma Hand Surgical Facilities
  • Teach and mentor students/residents/fellows
  • Research support for any NIH-funded candidates

Practice Profile

  • Department led by Dr. Elfar, who serves as Department Chair and is also a Hand and Upper Extremity surgeon
  • 22 Orthopaedic Surgeons (including 4 Hand & Upper Extremity), Trauma, Foot & Ankle, Spine, Sports Medicine, Joint Replacement, and General Orthopaedics
  • 20 orthopaedic residents, 2 Fellows (1 Hand & 1 Sports Med)
  • 10 APPs
  • Dedicated MA, casting support, and nurse navigator/educator for joint replacement
