Indiana University Health Physiciansis hiring! Our Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Division- Hand Programteamhas an opportunity for an experiencedNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto join theirhighly respectedteam at Methodist Hospital and Avon Hospital!

Opportunity Details

  • Full-time
  • Day shift 7a-5:30p
  • No weekends, holidays, or call
  • 50% Inpatient work, 50% Outpatient
  • Works directly with 5 Physicians and 2APP's
  • Multi-tasking environment including inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
  • Autonomous role, but will collaborate closely with Attendings, Residents and APP colleagues

Key responsibilities

  • Inpatient Rounding
  • ED Consults
  • Assist in the OR
  • Clinic patients
  • Respond to patient phone calls

Procedures

  • Fracture reductions and splinting casting
  • Simple surgeries in the ED
  • 1st assistantin the OR

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree REQUIRED
  • Must haveACNP, FNP, or PA certifications
  • Surgical Rotation completed in training, current experience in the ER, Surgical Service, or Urgent Care experience
  • Ideal candidate must have Hand and/or Trauma or Ortho Experience
