Physiatrist Job at Veterans Health Administration in Bay Pines, FL

The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician) to join our dynamic and dedicated team serving America’s Veterans. Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with a wide variety of physical and functional impairments.

• Develop and manage individualized rehabilitation care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

• Conduct electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS) and other diagnostic evaluations as clinically indicated.

• Provide consultation services for inpatient, outpatient, and specialty clinics.

• Oversee rehabilitation programs including musculoskeletal medicine, spinal cord injury, stroke, and amputee care.

• Participate in quality improvement, process enhancement, and performance management activities within the service.

• Engage in committee work and administrative responsibilities as needed to support service operations.
