Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering patient care services under the direction of the Medical Director. This includes coordinating patient care, supervising medical assistants, managing clinic operations, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols. The RN plays a key role in patient education, inventory management, and quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and health education
- Supervise and support Medical Assistants
- Coordinate clinic operations and patient flow
- Manage inventory and equipment maintenance
- Oversee medication processes and emergency supplies
- Conduct chart audits and ensure documentation accuracy
- Monitor employee health program
- Recommend and implement nursing protocols
- Maintain compliance with internal and external policies
Licensure:
- Current California Nursing License
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Valid CA Driver’s License
Setting: Outpatient clinic
Schedule:
Full-time; standard clinic hours. Includes oversight of daily clinic operations, walk-ins, and COVID-19 screening/testing coordination.
Patient Demographics:
All age groups; general medical patients in an outpatient setting.
Support Staff:
- Lead Medical Assistant
- Medical Assistants
- Administrative and clinical support staff
Certifications:
- CPR/BLS
- Board Certification not applicable for RN roles
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum one year of experience in an outpatient clinic
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- TB test and annual flu shot required (unless exempted)
- Hepatitis B vaccine offered
