This medium-sized rural hospital features a 7-bed department with a level 1 nursery that provides essential care services to the local community. The facility maintains a calm, low-volume environment with excellent support systems and is part of a respected healthcare network serving the Portage area.

Opportunity:
Pediatrics

Job Details:
Cover nursery call and telephone services in a low OB volume setting (0-2 births typically over a weekend)
Position requires 2-3 weeks per month of coverage including weekends, with flexibility on dates
Must be able to perform circumcisions - required skill
Intubation skills required, specifically for newborns
Preferred skills include ventilation management for newborns (acute) and UVC placement
Position available from February 1, 2026 - ongoing
Level 4 trauma facility

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
