MultiCare Health System seeks a full-time experienced Surgical Hospitalist / Acute Care Surgeon to join our team providing coverage for two hospitals located approximately 10 miles apart in South King County. Auburn Medical Center (AMC) is a level 3 trauma center and Covington Medical Center (CMC) is a community hospital.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an established team in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Details
- Schedule: 188 daytime shifts per year split between two hospitals
- Daytime shifts will be at one hospital at a time
- 10-hour day shifts
- 61 nights (14 hours) of home call coverage per year
- Call coverage will cover AMC fully and CMC by phone only
- 30-minute response time to AMC required for trauma activations
- Minimal clinic responsibilities
- 2+ years of post-residency experience is preferred
- DaVinci Xi robots may be available for acute care cases
- Ideal candidate must be comfortable operating on cases independently
- Compensation Range (based on experience): Minimum - $414,926.00 to Maximum - $459,816.00
What you will need
- Board certified in general surgery or eligible at time of employment
- Trauma background is preferred
- Robotics experience is a plus
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Licensed in the state of WA at the time of employment
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
