Job Description

MultiCare Health System seeks a full-time experienced Surgical Hospitalist / Acute Care Surgeon to join our team providing coverage for two hospitals located approximately 10 miles apart in South King County. Auburn Medical Center (AMC) is a level 3 trauma center and Covington Medical Center (CMC) is a community hospital. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an established team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Details

  1. Schedule: 188 daytime shifts per year split between two hospitals
    1. Daytime shifts will be at one hospital at a time
    2. 10-hour day shifts
    3. 61 nights (14 hours) of home call coverage per year
    4. Call coverage will cover AMC fully and CMC by phone only
    5. 30-minute response time to AMC required for trauma activations
  2. Minimal clinic responsibilities
  3. 2+ years of post-residency experience is preferred
  4. DaVinci Xi robots may be available for acute care cases
  5. Ideal candidate must be comfortable operating on cases independently
  6. Compensation Range (based on experience): Minimum - $414,926.00 to Maximum - $459,816.00


What you will need

  1. Board certified in general surgery or eligible at time of employment
  2. Trauma background is preferred
  3. Robotics experience is a plus
  4. Graduate of an accredited medical school
  5. Licensed in the state of WA at the time of employment
  6. DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
  7. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
