About the Role
The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking a clinical faculty member to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. The successful candidate will primarily focus on both basic and advanced electrophysiology (EP) procedures, device implementation, and the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. This is an academic position offering opportunities for clinical practice, education, and program development within a nationally recognized academic medical center. Practice Highlights:
Regular assignments in the faculty rotation to cover electrophysiology consult services at UK HealthCare.
Ambulatory practice focused on arrhythmias and other heart rhythm disorders.
Participation in both noninvasive and invasive EP testing.
Core member of the electrophysiology programs, contributing to program growth and patient care.
Teaching responsibilities with cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students through consult services, inpatient care, and departmental courses.

Qualifications
Education: M.D./D.O. degree or equivalent
Experience: Completion of residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship; completion of an accredited fellowship in Electrophysiology.
Certifications: Board eligible/board certified in Internal Medicine & Cardiovascular Diseases with current or eligible licensure to practice in Kentucky
Skills: Commitment to excellence in clinical care, education, and academic medicine.
