Shift:

• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Description:

• The Gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive care for patients with gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreatic disorders in an outpatient setting.
• The role focuses on clinic-based general gastroenterology without inpatient call or hospital rounding responsibilities.
• The physician will perform and interpret routine endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and upper endoscopy as needed for continuity of care.
• The position involves diagnosing, managing, and treating patients with a wide range of digestive system conditions.
• The Gastroenterologist will utilize the electronic medical record system for documentation, referrals, and care coordination.
• The provider will maintain appropriate referral pathways for advanced or procedural cases.
• This position is intended for a general Gastroenterologist; advanced endoscopy such as ERCP or EUS is not required.
• The ideal candidate demonstrates strong diagnostic skills, clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach to care.

Experience:

• Previous experience in outpatient gastroenterology preferred=

License:

• Active State Medical License

Certifications:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology

Must-Have:

• Clean malpractice history and proficiency in eClinicalWorks or similar EMR
