Join a dedicated team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital’s perioperative medicine ambulatory clinic as a PDR nurse practitioner in Missoula, Montana. This is a state-of-the-art facility where the majority of patients require total joint surgery for the hip, knee and shoulder.
Main responsibilities include, identifying perioperative risks based on individual characteristics of the patient as well as those inherent to the proposed surgical procedure, caring for pre-surgery patients by utilizing evidence-based medicine to identify modifiable risk factors and develop a plan of action to mitigate those risks during the perioperative period, and patient rounding after surgery. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting as well as strong knowledge of chronic disease processes.
