This OBMC commitment, aligned with the IES Physician-owned and managed ER group, unincumbered by outside investors, makes for the ultimate model to achieve excellence in healthcare. This superb group of Emergency Medicine physicians value what this unique practice has to offer.
OBMC has two (2) hospital-based ED’s in Richmond and one (1) ER in nearby Wharton, TX. A preference for nights only, or not doing 24’s, can be accommodated. OBMC provides care for all ages and proudly offers “no-wait ER services.” These are Lev 3 and Lev 4 ERs with most medical specialists represented.
Three hospital ER campuses include:
OBMC Jackson Street Campus
OBMC -Williams Way Campus
OBMC -Wharton Campus
Liability Insurance Protection: Procured by IES (for 1099 or W2) through Medical Protective of Ft. Wayne, IN. An occurrence-based policy requires no tail coverage.

About IES:
Integrative Emergency Services (IES) was created to be a safe haven for emergency medicine physician groups to allow physician leaders to create the best places to give and receive care. We do not have outside investors borrowing from tomorrow to create the opportunity today, so we can perform without non-clinicians dictating what is right for our patients. Achievements in excellence for healthcare performance and contract/physician retention (95%) are the cornerstone of our proven track record.
