The New Mexico VA Health Care System is seeking a full-time board eligible Daytime Hospitalist to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial in transforming our healthcare delivery for veterans, especially during times of increased demand. Qualifications:

• Completion of residency training.
• Possession of a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine from any state or US territory.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or Family Medicine is preferred.

Highlights of this Opportunity:

• Potential starting base salary range: $200,000 - $243,000
• Permanent full-time position with variable scheduling based on facility needs and deployments.
• Generous Paid Time Off: 50-55 days per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and possible 5-day paid absence for CME).
• Eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP).
• Possible relocation incentive for highly qualified candidates.
• Up to $1,000 per year reimbursement for CME (must be full-time with board certification).
• No Physician Employment Contract and minimal moonlighting restrictions.

• Must be available to deploy within 72 hours notice twice per calendar year, for up to a month at a time.
