Position: Hematology/Oncology Physician
Location: Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia
Duties: Analyze blood samples to identify abnormalities; treat diseases such as anemia, hemophilia, and leukemia; prescribe medications or dietary advice; study lab tests, CAT scans, and MRIs for a more accurate disorder and disease diagnosis; and coordinate medical management and care with referring providers and other medical personnel in a multidisciplinary health care delivery system.
Minimum Requirements: Doctor of Medicine from accredited U.S. medical school (or foreign equivalent); passage of all parts of U.S. Medical Licensing Examination; certification by Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates; completion of 3 year U.S. residency in internal medicine; completion of 3 year fellowship in hematology-oncology; board eligibility/certification in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology; active Georgia medical license.
